Digital Archiving

As a recording studio which looks after a number of artists, we have come to realise the importance of tape archiving; with original analogue master tapes beginning to deteriorate in clarity and condition.

We are now specialising in converting analogue formats into industry standard WAV or AIFF files - with the option of being saved and labelled as Pro Tools sessions and/or Logic song files.

We can export to DVD or external hard drive and, in the near future, Blu-Ray discs - thereby saving on expensive storage space too.

Tape doesn't last forever and suffers from oxide shedding. This necessitates the need to 'bake' the tapes in order to retrieve the valuable information; a process we can professionally undertake.

We can transfer any number of formats including 24 & 48 track 2 inch analogue, plus 1/2 and 1/4 inch stereo masters.

All consignments will be fully insured and we also offer a collection and return service.
